It is an honor to be commissioned by a fellow artisan. The client — a metalsmith — retrieved a 50 year old stack of Cherry from the barn on his family’s farm in Minnesota, and gave me the opportunity to design and build his dining room seating from this exceptional material.

And being the fan of Danish Cording that I am, I designed around using that material from the beginning as well.The result was this dining chair set, which also includes captains (armed chairs) and a matching bench.
