This media unit wanted to be mid-century from the very beginning. It was a perfect opportunity for some book-matched tambour doors that evaporate–with a one finger push–behind the vintage Marshall amplifier speaker cloth.

In addition to the subtle curves and strong mid-century language of this piece, I worked in a new sculpted leg detail that I’m sure to bring along into some other designs.
